“Countdown to UFC 78,” the official preview show for the UFC’s next pay-per-view event, debuted Monday, Nov. 12 at midnight ET/PT on Spike TV.

“UFC 78: Validation” takes place Nov. 17 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. After a few other main events fell through, UFC officials were eventually forced to book a headline bout between “The Ultimate Fighter 2” winner Rashad Evans and “The Ultimate Fighter 3” winner Michael Bisping.

The UFC 78 televised card also features Houston Alexander vs. Thiago Silva, Ed Herman vs. David Terrell, Ryo Chonan vs. Karo Parisyan, and Frankie Edgar vs. Spencer Fisher.

Unlike past UFC events, Spike TV will not air a “UFC All-Access” special in conjunction with UFC 78.
